Feeling Sick..

Before I begin my post about my sickness, I would like to say something first about what happened to me last Valentine's Day.

My co-qc and I planned to have a group date at Ason's resto. On the way there, we were met up with super heavy traffic. Everyone seems to be going to manila. Since there was the slightest chance that we could get there before 9, we all agreed to change the venue to alabang. Of course I was sad because it meant that I would not see my bf. But we have no choice so I just informed him that there had been a change of plan. We ate at North Park, ordering the usual dishes. I got home almost midnight because we had to wait for the bus ,which unluckily for us was waiting for more passengers. What made my day were the gifts my bf gave me. a pack of hershey's kissables chocolate, Eng Bee Tin's Hopia Baboy (Hopia love me too?!) and two fake roses with teddy bear (para hindi daw malanta *LOL*).

Now for my post...

I woke up this morning feeling sick. I have a mild fever, colds and sore throat. I wanted to take an absent but my co-qc staff informed me that he wasn't going to work. So that left me no choice. I drank my meds and went to work. I am the only qc present here. My Japanese boss is here doing his reports. Our QC Manager is also absent. My agenda and my reason for going to work today is to finish my dry color production and my color matchings. Since nobody else is here, I had to make formulations and check the colors that were produced yesterday. Haay Buhay...Sira ang agenda..hehe..It's a good thing na rin siguro na wala si Mam Wins kasi I wouldn't be able to blog if she's here because I am using her computer. hehehe...

I'm feeling better na but i'm not taking chances. I will drink another dose of meds before going home. Kukupit ako sa clinic *LOL*. Our nurse is not on duty today.

I hate having colds talaga. With it comes difficulty in breathing, ubusan ng tissue and a possibility of having pimples below my nose because of excessive wiping of sipons..yuck!

Hope to get better soon. Water therapy muna ako ngayon...

Happy Monthsary!!!

Most of my blogs are late, that's because I go home late and i'm already tired and our computer is always busy. So many excuses *LOL*.

Last saturday (Feb. 2), Ason and I celebrated our 37th monthsary. He always asks me if my Boss (Mam Winnie) still have GCs sa Fitness First. That's what were planning to do on that special day. A week before the date, I asked my boss if fitness have a promo. She's kind enough to call her friend in fitness at west gate. And what do you know, they have a promo. It's an Herbal Attraction Treatment for Couples. It costs 1399, good for two na un but if you will use it without a partner considered as one lang un. The treatment is for 90 minutes, with body scrub and body massage. Upon receiving the coupons, I immediately called the fitness first at Rob Ermita. It is their nearest branch to us and we always go there for treatments.

We arrived at the Spa earlier than our schedule. The receptionist said the room is already available but we still have to wait for our friend. She also bought the same treatment. Since she no longer work at the office, we had to meet her to give her the coupon.

After she left, we went inside for our Herbal Attraction Treatment. It started with a body scrub. A mixture of orange and apple I think. That accounts for the citrus smell of the scrub. We were supposed to have Basil but it was unavailable. After that we had to wash up then on to our body massage. The best part of course. The therapists asked us if we want oil or lotion. Mine was oil (Eucalyptus), Ason's was lotion (Chocolate). We felt much better after the massage. We gave our Therapists (Ayen and Jenielyn I think) a generous tip for the wonderful job.

After a relaxing treatment we became hungry. We ate at one of our fave resto (the place where we usually eat) Mr. Choi Kitchen. Since Chinese New Year was only days ahead, they have a promo available only at a specific time). They have discounts on dimsums, fried rice, congee and noodles. We had wanton noodles, halo-halo congee, prok siomai, beef siomai, and duck feet. Yes, duck feet. I don't like how it looks and specially how it tastes. The sight of its webbed feet turned my stomach upside down.

All in all our day went well. We enjoyed every minute. It's been a long since we had a date like this.

By the way, you don't have to be a member of fitness first to avail of their special promos and treatments.

Seattle's the Best

For the past 2 years i've been filling up the sticker card of starbucks to avail of their free planner. I don't really use the planner because I actually don't plan my day. If there are important things that I should remember, I use my cel to store those. I'm only interested on the freebies inserted on the planner. Last year, when I got the planner, I was disappointed because there were no more freebies. Instead, they just made their planner more attractive. I never wrote a single word on that planner. 2007 has past, the planner was never used. This year, after learning that starbucks still doesn't have freebies, we decided to go to seattles and check out what they are offering. Learning that they have better freebies, we decided to fill up their sticker. After a month of drinking coffee (most of the sticker came from Ason's friends), we finally filled it up. This is what we've got.

We were supposed to have the bag in cream but Ason chose the green instead so it won't easily get dirty. I got the planner and the bag. He got the mug. The monthly freebies, that we shared. We already used the freebie for January which is a buy 1 take 1 Javanilla. Yummy! Sarap talaga ng libre! *LOL* although I was the one who treated Ason. Next month, we will try their milk shakes. Pangvalentines. Siyempre buy 1 take 1 pa rin. *LOL*

PBB Housemates

It's time again for our birthday fund blowout. This time we have 3 new recruits. Jimmuel, Marco and Kuya Lino. This month we celebrate the birthdays of Marco, Jimmuel and Monching. We don't have a specific place to go to yet but we are going to West Gate in Alabang. A few of us got there first to scout for a place to eat. We tried Zong, a Chinese Resto. We stayed there for a while after eating, sharing life stories, chismis at the office. By the way, the food were great! Thumbs up! The price were also affordable. So, after the chika minutes that became chika hours already we decided to go for coffee at starbucks. As we were about to go out of the ressto, there was a little commotion at the door. Bodie and Nel of PBB season 2 were there. I have a camera with me so we grabbed that chance to have a picture taken with them. We were starstrucked! Cute pala ni Bodie sa personal. Si Nel ang kwela. After the coffee, we went home na. Good thing Monching and I were going the same way so i'm not that scared to take a bus home. When I arrived I immediately uploaded our pictures. Grabe saya ng lakad na yun. Aside from seeing celebrities, we had a big group which made it more fun. Next lakad we plan to have an overnight swimming in Laguna. I can't wait!

No Good Food

Thursday, the 31st of January, while waiting for 5:30 (End of our work for the day) we reminded our Japanese Boss about the treat he promised us. Since everyone was available that time we decided to go out that day. Our boss is a bit kuripot so all of us thought that it might be best if we eat at an eat-all-you-can resto. That would be Saisaki, Dads and Kamayan at ATC. When we got there, they were already closed, for good. My boss got a bit angry. We immediately looked for another resto. We asked him if he likes Chinese food. He said anywhere would be fine. We went our way to North Park. Located beside North Park is Tempura, a Japanese Resto. We asked him again if it's ok with him if we eat there. He said if we like it then it's fine with him. We have no idea what to order, so we asked our boss instead. Who would know better right? We ordered a lot of food, tempura, hawaiian maki, babay back ribs, yakisoba, yasai and a few more. Our boss ordered the Japanese fried rice. When he tried it, he didn't like it because it had too much butter. In the end, we didn't finish our food. Nakakaumay ang pagkain nila. When we got the bill, our boss said it's cheap and I said it's because the food is NO GOOD!
