The Men Hunt Tag

This is one exciting tag. What is more exciting than to share the men you are drooling on *LOL*? Hhhmmm...Sinu-sino nga ba? Before I like Asian boylets. But since I don't have much time watching chinovelas, koreanoveles, etc. my likings for asian men kinda disappeared. Don't get me wrong but my personal preference are those with chinky eyes. Hindi naman obvious sa BF ko di ba? So here are the guys who make my heart beat faster *LOL*.

1. Jensen Ackles

He is Dean in the TV series Supernatural. He first caught my attention in the series Dark Angel with Jessica Alba. Love his sexy eyes..

2. Steven Strait

He starred in a lot of films. 10,000 BC, The covenant (one of my favorite), Sky High and Undiscovered. Did I mention he also knows how to sing?

3. Chace Crawford

He is what I consider the boy next door type. He plays Nate in the new series Gossip Girl. Cutie!

4. Jerry Yan

My asian bet. The feeling comes back whenever I watch meteor garden. Kilig to the max! I love his dimples and he has the cutest smile. Don't you think? Sana he'll return in the Philippines, actually they, the F4. Yayayain ko mga sis and cuzs ko..

So there you go. My choices. They are the reason why i'm watching tv and collecting DVDs *LOL*. Actually, there's more but as they say " So many men, so little time." Over and out..

Low BP

Ou new nurse Jim was kind enough to monitor the blood pressure of employees who have a history of heart problem or those who are at risk of having one. I'm one those people who he monitor but not because of high BP but the other way around. My normal BP is 90/60. Yesterday it went down to 80/60. Normally you will feel sleepy when you have low Bp because you lack oxygen in your brain. I was feeling ok until I went home. It seemed as if all my energy was drained. I was really sleepy but I couldn't sleep. I was suppose to continue my review but decided to postponed it to get rest. This morning I felt worse, so I took a leave of abscence. I ate a lot of veggies today hoping it would help. I'm feeling a lot better now. I'll just take this day off to relax. BF will be coming home today. Hope the weather will get better. It's raining since this morning.

Abandoned

Since yesterday our QC Manager was on leave. She was supposed to report for work today because she only filed a leave for yesterday. It was already 8:05 when I noticed that she hasn't arrived yet. Most of the time she's early. When I asked her she told me she's not feeling well. Our Asst. QC Manager is also on leave. She went to Bora with her family. So that leaves me in charge of QC. I did some of their work like make daily qc report, inspect incoming raw mats, check hotpress sheets. Good thing our production is not that loaded, and most of the colors have no correction. Aside from these, I also have a rush color matching. I was able to finish it today, buti na lang. The customer called me up yesterday asking for it. It was only given to me by BF the day before yesterday. Buti na lang magaling ako magcolor match *LOL* (color black lang kasi). I was suppose to steal a few hours from work to browse my notes for the board but because of the work overload, I wasn't able to do so (tapos nagbblog pa ko *LOL*).

Hopefully, our mother ( Mam Winnie ), will feel better tomorrrow. I have no complaints doing some of her work, its an opportunity to learn. There are just things that need her approval. I'm still scared to make decisions regarding QC because I have to take full responsibility in case something went wrong (customer complaints).

A lonely week..

This coming week will be a lonely week for me. My BF will be leaving for Hongkong this monday. He will be accompanying his sister to arrange some documents to make her stay here legal. Tomorrow, our family will suppose to have an outing in celebration of my aunt and uncle's birthday. I won't be joining the outing for three reasons. First, we might have another family outing maybe this coming May when my tita arrive from Singapore. Second, I'm not really on a swimming mood and besides I need a lot of catching up on my review. I'm in lazy mode right now. And lastly, I want to spend time with BF before he leave. It will only be for four days but for me it would feel like a very very long time. I'm always used to seeing him everyday. Going to work with him, chatting about anything and everything until the time comes when we couldn't say anything anymore. Only listening to each others breathes.

I'll be texting him most of the time. Giving updates on the latest chikas in the office. Si Chona ata 'to (Chona Chikadora) *LOL* But since texting for him is more expensive, I may not be receiving so much in return. Sabi niya he'll find a way to e-mail me. Sana nga. I'll tell him na lang to be online para makapagchat kami. Hopefully he'll agree. I think he doesn't know how. I'll ask her sis na lang to teach him.

Days go by very fast. Sana it'll fast forward to saturday so he'll be here na. Sana din next year we could go on an out of the country vacation. That is if his obligations would allow him.

I almost forgot, his birthday is coming up. Haven't thought of any gift yet. Ang hirap talagang regaluhan ng mga lalaki.

Summer '08

Our company outing was held at Laiya Rest House and Becah Resort in San Juan Batangas. The departure time was supposed to be 630 am but because of unexpected traffic, we left at 7:10 am already. On our way traffic pa rin so we arrived at the resort 11 am na. It was also raining that time. But it's a good thing though kasi we won't get too much sunburn. The sun came out after lunch na. It was too hot already so we decided not to stay under it for a long time. We were suppose to have a volleyball game and obstacle course, but since we lack time to do that volleyball na lang. I was suppose to participate but did not do so kasi ang tagal magstart. Ako pa naman when it comes to outings like this gusto ko ako mauuna maligo..*LOL*. I was sleepy kasi Ason and I only had two hours of sleep maybe even less. He was already sleeping while I was taking a shower. He only woke up nung malapit ng umalis..hehe..I also stole a few minutes of sleep. Hindi na kami nakapagmerienda, take out na lang.

The resort was ok. The beach not so kasi hindi ganun kalinaw ung water tapos ang dami pang tao. The food? Not so good also. Good thing some of our operators cooked bulalo, inihaw na tilapia and bangus, inihaw na talong with bagoong alamang (sarap nito), and kilawin. They also brought ripe mangoes.

We arrived at the plant around 8. Some of us stopped at the shell gas station to have dinner. Ung mga magugulo (QC and sales plus our nurse Jim).

My Alma Mater

I heard from my good old friend maan that 4th year chemistry students from our school (PLM) will be having a comprehensive exam to check if they are ready to take the board exam. Coz last year no one from PLM was able to pass the said exam. Just to be sure that it will never happen again the professors thought of giving them a sort of pre-board exam to assess their capability. Since I am working, I wouldn't be able to take the exam, I need to save up my VL and SL for the coming review and exam. I took a leave last friday to inquire and ask our dean if I could get a copy of the exam. Good thing we caught up with her before she left the school. She wasn't suppose to be there because it was her day off. Luckily, she needed to attend a seminar. When I asked her about the exam, she said it is ongoing, meaning they scheduled the exam that day and the day before. She couldn;t provide me with the exam but told me that if most of them failed, they will be having another exam, which I think I wouldn't be able to take, again.
Transcript of records are needed for the board, and since I was already there, I paid for a new copy na rin.
The fun part of going there was reminiscing the times we spent there during college. There were a lot of changes though. The quadrangle where we used to play tennis is already a covered court, maybe because our gymnasium is under renovation. The walkway to different buildings have monitors with BBC news on it. The school now is trimester, in preparation for masteral. Deretso masteral na kasi after you graduate. Kainis bakit hindi namin naabutan! Anyways, I was so happy to see that our school has a lot changes, good ones talaga. Seeing my felow Isko and Iska (Scholars) makes me wanna study again...

Here are some of the pictures of my dear alma mater...

Photo Extraction

I have always been curious how people remove the background in a picture. I saw one of Wanda's LO wherein she used photo extraction technique. I asked her how she did it and she said it's mano mano. One lazy afternoon at the office (nothing much to do) I tried the mano mano technique and this is what came out of it.

We were at Tagaytay Highlands waiting for our cable car ride when this shot was taken. Ason was playing with Rohan that time. Isn't he a cutie. He is Ason's inaanak and my kinakapatid's son.

The Mist

This is one depressing movie...

A couple of days when I arrived home my family were watching a movie. I did not bother to watch the it since it was already the middle part when I arrived. I just went to the computer to check out a few stuff in the internet. Of course I couldn't help it, every once in a while I glance on the tv whenever I hear them scream.

The movie is entitled The Mist. It is based from the novel of Stephen King. Knowing the author you shouldn't expect a happy ending.

This is how the story goes...Please excuse my story telling ability *LOL*
There is this town where a a secret government laboratory is located. Something went wrong and the town was covered in mist (that's why it's the title). With the mist come big spiders and creatures (giant ones) that look like aliens, which of course kill people. Everyone died except for those people who were in the supermarket. The main character in the film and his son were one of those people. A man who works for the government and who knows about what is happening was also there but was later killed by the locals. This is the part of the movie wherein I lost my appetite. Seeing someone stabbed to death and was thrown to the creature really bothered me. Continuing with the story...The main character did not want to stay there any longer, he thought they have a bigger chance for survival if they leave. Joining him were a few people. When they were about to leave, they were stopped by the same people who killed the other guy. Ang gulo ko talaga magkwento. One lady who everyone seemed to follow (she's like a preacher) ordered that they need to sacrifice the son of the main character and one lady. They were carrying knives. Good thing one guy who joined the main character have a gun. He killed the lady preacher so they could get out. When they got out, this same guy was killed by the spiders. Luckily he left the gun for the MC (main character) to use. Only five of them got safely to the car.
Slowly, they went their way out of town. They passed by the MC's house where he saw his wife covered in spider's web. Unfortunately, they ran out of gas. They lost hope for survival, so they thought of commiting suicide. There are only 4 bullets in the gun and there are 5 of them. The MC killed everyone including his son and wait until the creatures come to take his life. Here comes the depressing part.. The MC screams for the creatures to come. He then heard a loud sound, expecting to see the creatures. Slowly the mist disappeared and he saw military tanks and soldiers. It was the rescue. He stood there shocked. The people who were left in the supermarket passed by him. All he could do is scream..Ang pangit nga niya sumigaw at umiyak e.

I don't understand why you would choose to take your life than to wait to see if rescue would come. On their way out of town they never encountered any creature. They already made it that far, WHY NOT WAIT!!! I really felt sad after I watched it. I may never watch a film based by a Stephen King novel..Sad...

Cebu B?

Every now and then Wilson visits our customers in Cebu to personally attend to their requests, demands and sometimes complaints. He's scheduled in Cebu this week. He left yesterday and will be scheduled to arrive here in Manila today. So, for the past few days I wake up at 5:00 in the morning just so that I could join the service in Makati. I was so tempted to take a leave of abscence but was able to suppress myself because I am opting for a perfect attendance this month. Sayang din ang 400 pesos *LOL*. As pampalubag loob, BF will have to buy me lots of pasalubong. His trip also serves as vacation for him. Not a time wander around Cebu but a time to get plenty of rest (sleep). He asked me if I wanted to join.

I miss him and I can't wait to see him later (hopefully).

Tagaytay Highlands

Holy week is not only a time for reflection. Holy week, for most people is a time to relax and unwind. This is the longest time we have out of work so Wilson decided to plan an adventure. The destination? Tagaytay Highlands. Tagaytay Higlands is an exclusive place, only members have an access to the place. But for those who are not that rich to own a lot or house there, there is another way to visit. If you know someone who is a member, they can get you a guest card which costs 2000. The 1800 is consumable. You can use it for a lot of activities that you can do inside.

Upon arrival, we met up with Ate Susan, Wilson's friend who got us the guest card. Then we ate breakfast at The Highland Golf and Country Club. The view from the golf course was spectacular. It was much more than what i expected. I never thought such a place exixts here in the Philippines. After our brunch (it was already 10:30) we rode the cable car to the sports center. There they have courts for basketball, badmnton, tennis. They also have an indoor pool, computer center and lots more.

From the sports center, we rode a shuttle (Toyota Grandia), which is totally free, to our next destination, Camp Highlands. They have swimming pools here. A big one and small mini pools which can really be private. Cottages were located near the mini pools. This was where we spent most of our time. What I really love about the place was the shower room is really very clean, there were toilet paper inside every cubicle they have hot and cold showers and most of all, towels were provided so there is no need to use the towel you brought.

It was already late in the afternoon but we still have time to stroll around the place before we head back to the golf club. Mas natakot ako when we were in the cable car going back to the golf club. Mas ramdam kasi na tumataas ka and I can't help but think that we might fall and die. Wala pa mandin si Wilson sa tabi ko. huhuhu..

It was already past 5 when we reached the golf club. Ason still wanted to show us the midlands. We'll take a ride first at the funicular (it was like a bus that will bring you to midlands). There was a viewing deck where you can see a very good view of the taal volcanoe. Since there was nothing much to see in the midlands, we decided not to go and head back home na. Sayang lang because we weren't able to ride the funicular.

All in all the experience was great. It's a once in a lifetime experience. It will a very long time before we can go back there again. Sulit ang lakad namin. I'm happy happy happy..
