Photo Extraction

I have always been curious how people remove the background in a picture. I saw one of Wanda's LO wherein she used photo extraction technique. I asked her how she did it and she said it's mano mano. One lazy afternoon at the office (nothing much to do) I tried the mano mano technique and this is what came out of it.

We were at Tagaytay Highlands waiting for our cable car ride when this shot was taken. Ason was playing with Rohan that time. Isn't he a cutie. He is Ason's inaanak and my kinakapatid's son.
