Freebies Gallore

My sister is getting married soon and she asked me if I could make her an invitation using my scrapbooking skills *LOL* (parang expert na e no?). I agreed, the problem is I don't have any kits suitable for a wedding invitation. Then I remembered Wanda's invitation to join this website for pinay digiscrappers. I joined and was so happy! 'Di ko akalain marami pa lang nagdidigiscrapbooking. I received a warm welcome from some of the members. The best part is I learned a lot of freebies site. Haven't found a kit for my project but I snagged a few from Che's blog. Love her blog, dami freebies!
I also learned a lot of tips and tricks with regards to using PS. Mas madalas na kong maglog dito kaysa sa Friendster *LOL*

Here are some of the kits I downloaded:

Made my own

As you can see I have a new banner for my blog. It's not so simple anymore although the LO that I did is still simple. You can check the credits here. If I have time I'll change it again, I still need to find pretty kits so can make a prettier banner *LOL*.

I'm a Pro

I officially have a pro account at Flickr. Yipee! Now, I can store all the pictures that I have. Memories from previous outings, birthday celebrations and special moments. I really don't know where to start. I started uploading pictures stored from the PC at the office and now here at home. Hay, dami talaga!

My very own

Two days ago I received my supplementary credit card from BPI. Yipee! My mom is the principal cardholder. Now I can purchase anything I want. From clothes, bags, shoes, digi kits and what I have been wanting for so long, a flickr pro account! I am fond of taking and keeping pictures. Sometimes they would tease me " Hindi ka masyado mahilig sa pictures." It would be costly if I would print everything, so I need a place to store them. And the perfect place would be at Flickr. Maybe by next week I would be a flickr pro na!

Hello and Goodbye

It's been already a week since our last boss went back to Japan and left us for good. He was not demoted or promoted. We will be starting our compounding this year and the company thinks it is best to assign someone who has experience in compounding. So came in Mr. Tsukamoto. He worked here in the Philippines ages ago and now he is back. He is older, stricter. Mam Winnie, who stayed in the company too long already he became her boss then, said that he is good but very serious when it comes to work. He is always in the production area monitoring machines and operators. Even in the injection area he roams. We feel pressured everytime he's around. Who wouldn't? He is always watching us, our every move. Literally!

Enough of him! You'll be hearing more of him in the next few days or months.

Before Sir Ando left, the company had a little lunch for him. As our immediate boss, we gave him something to remember us by. A painting, which we bought at Kultura, of Bahay Kubo with a farmer and his carabao. And also a collage of our pictures. I made it extra special by using the Digiscrapmania festicolor kits.
