With the constant increase in fuel price and commodities, who wouldn't take advantage of a free ride. A very generous TV station is giving a free bus ride to commuters. I think this is applicable only in the morning, Mondays to Fridays. The bus arrives around 6:00 - 6:15 AM.
I was very lucky this morning, I got to ride the bus for free. A woman who was getting off offered me her seat (konti na lang kasi ang gentleman ngayon, baka maagawan pa ko ng seat). The bus is new, seats are comfortable and the aircon is cool.
One thing I noticed though, nobody seems to say "Thank you" when they get off the bus. The TV station gave you a free ride, saved you a few bucks, the driver made sure you reached your destination safely, but you couldn;t even utter the words THANK YOU?
Before I got off the bus, I said Thank You. Thank you to the Bus Driver, the Conductor and to God for the FREE RIDE. Sa uulitin! :)

A Bad Monday
I am in no mood right now. I easily get irritated with people's remarks and not to mention their disturbances. I just wanted to concentrate on work right now so when it's time to leave, my replacement won't have a hard time adapting to the job.
I wanted change so badly. Change in work, appearance, lifestyle, surroundings, the faces I see everyday (except for my family). I am so fed up, I couldn't take it anymore.
The change I am asking for will start with me and will start today. I'll change my attitude, habits, and most importantly my outlook in life. Life is good and something this good should not be wasted.

Some people are just plain rude
I have treated people the way I wanted to be treated. I keep my composure in situations where I encounter rude, arrogant and self-absorbed people.
Today I encountered one rude individual. My uncle and I bought a few things from the grocery. Before going home we dropped by this bread store. While he was on the counter buying bread I sat down on a chair with all the plastic bags from the grocery when an employee placed a cup of coffee and a brownie on the table. Apparently it was for the [rude] man. He asked me if he could take the table and I said yes..A few seconds later he called my attention and pointed to the sign, which he deliberately placed in front of me, that says for dining customers. I just ignored him, hoping that my uncle would be finished soon because I can't carry all the grocery bags! He called me again and told me that he can't eat while I'm still sitting there! At that point I got irritated but kept my cool. Thank goodness my uncle was done so I quickly stood up and we left.
If we weren't in a hurry I would have told that man that I would dine there and that he had to find another table to eat because I was there first. All I could say after that incident was "Lord bahala ka na sa kanya. Sana maturuan siya ng leksyon."
No matter how great or smart or rich you are you have no right to treat people like that. As the commandment says, Do not do unto others what you do not want others to do unto you.

One good day turned bad
I accompanied BF last saturday to Subic to visit one of our customers. We left Manila at around 7:20 AM. This was the first time we went to Subic on a weekend. Normally, travel time would be 3 hrs but eversince the SCTEx was opened, travel time was shortened to 2 hrs. only. It was farther than the normal route to Subic but at least we got there in a jiffy.
look at the speedometer
we saw monkeys
This way to Zoobic Safari
We had our lunch at Kenny Rogers at a gasoline station in NLEX. We were supposed to eat in Manila but was stomach was protesting! Masamang nagugutom ang tiyan ko! *LOL*
After our Subic trip, we went to our favorite mall (SM Mall of Asia). Favorite, kasi un ang pinakamalapit sa resto ni BF kaya palagi kaming nandun. We had our merienda then we went our separate ways. He, to the store. Me, sa mall. There was a sale, as in mall wide! *LOL* I purchased a blouse and a pair of pants. I was about to go to the shoes section when I passed by Timex. Piolo and Angel were in MOA and was about to visit the Timex branch there. I happened to be in a spot where they were going to pass by. So I reached for my phone in my bag so I can take their picture only to find out that it was missing. I forgot about Piolo and Angel and quickly rushed to the last place I went to. The restroom. Nothing there. I also checked Milk and Co., the last shop I went to. I asked the sales ladies there if they saw my phone. Negative. I immediately called BF so he can contact my number. Hoping that the person who found it would be kind enough to return it to me. At first it was ringing and then the call was being cut off, until he can't reach it anymore. Huhuhu...It was my favorite phone! An SE K800i. What's worst was, I just loaded it with 300 pesos! I really did not know when and where I lost it.
All I can say is, Mahirap na talaga ang buhay ngayon. Konti nalang ang taong may mabuting kalooban. Hindi man lang ako nataon sa isa. Oh well...

Karma
I've always believed in Karma. May it be good or bad (mostly bad. *LOL*). Whenever somebody hurts me or did something bad to me I leave it all up to karma. Last sunday I was walking in the mall on my way home when a girl approached me. She asked me if I could give her money so she could get home. She lost her wallet and needed 60 pesos to get home to fairview. Being very maawain I gave her money.
I never told anyone about the incident. Most of them would tell me na naloko lang ako. It doesn't matter, if she just fooled me into giving her money shame on her. Karma will get to her.
This is what I think when I gave her money. If I am in the girl's position I would hope someone would help me the same way I helped her. It takes a lot of guts to ask someone for money. Some people do that to earn easy money. I'm just happy because I have done a good deed. It's been a long time na..

Making me nervous
Most of the time I will be blogging about the progress of my review...
Today we met our professor for Inorganic Chemistry. An old lady who was a former professor of our Gen Chem and Organic Chem professor who is already on his fifties, so just imagine how old she is. She looks like a typical grandmother. She even requested for a microphine because her voice is a bit weak due to old age.
When the class started, she announced that she has our class list and she will be calling names for recitation. I panicked because I haven't really studied that much. I was praying and hoping that I would get to answer an easy question. God Loves me so much. I was asked to write the balanced chemical equation for the combustion of methane. It was pretty easy compared to others who were asked for definition of terms. One of our classmate cut the class. Maybe she didn't want to be called or she didn't like her manner of teaching. Because honestly it was very slow for a review. Most of her questions coukd be found on textbooks. A friend of mine who graduated from UP wasn't really thrilled with the recitation. She said it wasn't effective.
I'm not really looking forward to our Inorganic Class next week. I don't like recitation. It's humiliating when you don't know the answer. But I won't have to attend it on monday because we'll be having our surveillance audit for ISO that day. So my presence is much needed in the office. If I will be called again next time and wouldn't be able to answer i'll be posting it here no matter how embarassing it may be.

Glorietta Tragedy
It was around three in the afternoon when our boss told us that there was an explosion in glorietta. He learned about this because his wife was in glorietta that time, shopping (pashopping-shopping na lang, kainggit *lol*). He said he was scared and wanted to go back to Japan. If you ask me, he was over reacting because he was supposed to treat us after his wife left for Japan (ayaw lang manlibre *lol*). I've learned that most casualties was brought to makati med. My sister works at makati med as a medtech, so I immediately asked for details. That time, there were 4 dead bodies in the morgue. She saw them with her own eyes, she said it's gruesome. One body, that of a woman (foreigner I think) was twisted and badly burned. Others you wouldn't even recognize because of burns and debris on their faces. This happened friday. Saturday, my BF and I were supposed to go there so he could buy me a gift for my birthday. Luckily, the tragedy did not happen that day. Madalas pa man din kami sa area na un. Despite that, I still grieve for those who have lost their love ones in the tradegy. Who would ever know that that time was their last time to shop
Two days after the said bombing ( I heard from a report this morning that investigators think that it's only an accident. Gas leak? I don't think so. There was no fire!), another tragedy happened. Still in glorietta. This time it was a fire. The paluto retaurant at G4 was burned. A lot of people panicked. Good thing, the fire was quickly put out.
Two tragedy. Same place, in the same week. A series of bad luck for Glorietta mall.

A sad reality...
Yesterday when I went to work I was really excited because of 3 reasons. First, we only have to work halfday, so I can spend the rest of the aftenoon with my boyfriend. Second, it was the day my boyfriend will treat me at the newly opened Racks in Magallanes. And thirdly, i'm going to buy my new cellphone (Sony Ericson K800i). This my birthday gift for myself. But an unexpected news came when I was into the QC room. One of my collegues called our QC manager and was asking for help. His son was accidentally electricuted and died. The hospital didn't want to release the body of his son because he doesn't have any money to pay for the bills (What's up with hospitals these days). Good thing our President, Mr. Matsushita was very supportive. He personally attend to the financial needs of Kuya Lito. He even went to Makati to give his support.
What happened, according to one of my officemate who talked to Kuya Lito, was his son was riding a tricycle, he went off the tricycle to give way to another passenger then he accidently leaned on a street lamp post which was grounded. It was raining that day which made the matter worst. He was dead on arrival at the hospital. This boy is only 15 years old.
It is helpful to know the first aid for electricution just in case you happen to see someone who has been electricuted. This procedure can help lives.
My parting note for this post would be that our lives are only borrowed from God. He is the only One who can give and take away life. We shouldn't take this gift of life for granted....
P.S.
Our plan to eat at Racks and to buy a cellphone was cancelled.huhuhu...In another time, hopefully before my birthday.
