Extreme Heat

I did not go to work today because I wasn't feeling well. This may be due to the fact that the weather here is extremely hot. Staying inside the laboratory equipped with air conditioning then going out for lunch when the heat of the sun is at its peak will definitely make you sick. I've been hoping that rain would come even just for a few days. Just to give us a cooler weather and give a supply of water. Everyday, when I go to work, I would pass by two rivers. One is at Guadalupe, the other is in Marikina and everyday the water level is decreasing. I could actually see land on where it used to have only water. People would stand only waist deep in the middle of the river. This is already beyond normal. It's already alarming! According to PAGASA we will experience a late rainy season. Normally, rainy season would come by May but this year it will start late on the month of June. How I wish June would come soon and the heat of the sun would lessen...:(
